Conflict of Interest Policy
Version 1 · Published 2026-10-271. Disclosure Personnel involved in eligibility, moderation, vote review, results, scholarships or scholarship payments must disclose financial, ownership, employment, family, close personal and other material relationships that could affect their judgment. Disclosures are updated when circumstances change and recorded with the affected matter. The organizer also operates Tri Delta Fye, LLC d/b/a Winder CNA Training. A separate LLC does not make an affiliated award an independent endorsement. When Winder CNA Training participates, its connection must be disclosed clearly with affected award claims and materials; a remote footer alone must not be used to disguise that connection.
2. Recusal A conflicted person must not score the affected scholarship application, decide the affected eligibility or award dispute, invalidate votes to benefit an affiliated business, approve that business's challenged result, or alone authorize a related school payment. Recusal and reassignment are documented. A person affiliated with an applicant's selected training provider must disclose that affiliation and step aside from evaluation of that application. Access to private records is limited to a legitimate assigned role.
3. Independent handling A person without the material conflict handles the affected decision. Using another account belonging to the same person is not independent review. Where no nonconflicted reviewer is available, the affected decision or payment is held until one is assigned; the absence of a reviewer is not permission to waive the conflict. A reviewer cannot approve their own frozen result snapshot. An affiliated business may participate only under the same published criteria and truthful connection disclosures. No special ballot placement, vote weighting, confidential competitor information or purchase-based preference is allowed. The student retains the choice of an eligible school.
4. Money and records Paid promotion, advertising sales and sponsorship do not control rankings, vote validity or scholarship selection. Related-party costs and payments require disclosure, evidence of the actual service or eligible school charge, and nonconflicted authorization under the applicable policy. Personal benefit cannot be disguised as an eligible scholarship expenditure. Records must identify the matter, disclosed relationship, recusal, replacement decision-maker and reason.
5. Reports and remedies Report a conflict concern to support@mychoiceawards.com. Good-faith reports are assessed without retaliation for raising the issue. A substantiated conflict may require reassignment, re-review, a public correction or withdrawal of a misleading claim. A correction preserves the underlying audit history and does not authorize destruction of evidence.
