myChoice Awards
Clear rules. Verifiable recognition.

What myChoice recognition means

myChoice Awards is a private community voting program for Georgia businesses. An award reflects valid votes under the published rules. It is not a government certification, professional license or independent quality inspection.

A listing, a nomination and a win are different

Business listing
A published directory profile. A listing alone does not mean the business is on the ballot or has won.
Nominee
A business approved for a particular category and award cycle. Nominees can share free voting campaign materials.
Published winner
A result published after voting closes, the tally is frozen and a different administrator approves the result. Recognition names the category, year and award area.

How votes are protected

Email verification, server-checked CAPTCHA, request limits and a database-enforced daily limit work together. Remembered devices keep email verification convenient while retaining CAPTCHA and daily limits.

These checks reduce abuse; no system can promise to eliminate every bot or prove that each email belongs to a different person. Staff record vote invalidations, and result preparation and approval are separated.

Recognition cannot be purchased

Participation, voting and earned winner recognition are free. Paid winner marketing is optional. It does not add votes, change a tally or improve a business’s award placement. Sponsored placements are labeled.

Any operator-affiliated business must follow the same published rules. Conflicted personnel must disclose their connection and step aside from affected decisions under the Conflict of Interest Policy.

A scholarship mission with clear accounting

Our commitment is to direct 100% of net proceeds from winner marketing campaigns, after clearly defined campaign costs, toward student scholarships across Georgia. The scholarship committee selects recipients for officially Pell- or Workforce Pell-eligible training programs under its approved criteria.

Revenue is not the same as scholarship money paid out. After scholarships have been paid, the mission page will publish allocations, awards and disbursements. myChoice is a private scholarship program; program eligibility does not imply federal sponsorship of these awards.
