The 2026 awards cover all of Georgia. Voting is free and open during November 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026.
One vote per email address, per category, per day. Each day resets at midnight Eastern.
Voting rules · version 11. Participation and schedule Voting and nomination are free. No purchase, paid promotion or marketing signup is required or improves a participant's chance of recognition. The 2026 Georgia voting period runs from November 1, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. through December 31, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m., Eastern Time. Each cycle's displayed schedule controls its opening and closing. A nomination or directory listing is not automatically a place on the ballot. 2. Voting limit and verification A verified email address may cast one vote in each category per day in the same cycle. A day runs from midnight to midnight in America/New_York, including daylight saving changes. Choosing a different nominee or device does not create another daily vote. A code request is not a vote; the confirmation must show that the vote was recorded. Use an email address you control. Verification codes expire after 15 minutes and have limited attempts. CAPTCHA and request limits apply. Choosing a remembered device allows reuse of verified access for up to 30 days, subject to expiration, revocation and the same daily limit. It does not cast votes automatically or subscribe you to marketing. Email verification does not prove one unique person per email address. 3. Fair participation Do not use bots, scripts, purchased votes, impersonation, stolen access, fabricated accounts or coordinated circumvention of the limit. Do not offer payment or other consideration conditioned on a vote for a particular nominee. Businesses may invite genuine supporters to vote and share accurate free campaign materials. Staff may investigate and invalidate votes supported by evidence of a rule violation; each invalidation requires a recorded reason. Legitimate criticism or declining a purchase is not a basis to remove votes. 4. Results and ties Nominee display order is randomized. Only valid votes count. The highest valid total in a category receives its earned winner designation. If leaders tie, all tied leaders receive the same winner designation; there is no paid tie-breaker. A category with no valid votes has no winner. After closing, staff review the records, freeze the tally and obtain a different administrator's confirmation before publication. An unpublished tally is not an announced award. Results identify the category, area and year. Purchases cannot alter totals, tie treatment or earned recognition. 5. Concerns, corrections and conflicts Report a voting issue or result concern to support@mychoiceawards.com with the relevant page and facts. Reports are reviewed on their merits, with corrections and reasons documented. Do not send another voter's private information or verification codes. No short complaint window in these rules takes away a statutory remedy. Material schedule changes, interruptions or corrections are announced on the affected pages. The operator's affiliated businesses follow the same rules. Personnel with a material conflict must not decide their own eligibility dispute, vote invalidation, tie or result challenge; the Conflict of Interest Policy applies. Public recognition is a community-vote result, not a government certification or independent inspection.
Ties: All tied leaders receive the same earned winner designation.
Categories without valid votes receive no winner. Nominees appear in random order, and purchases do not affect votes or results.
Each voting day runs from midnight to midnight in America/New_York (Eastern Time), including daylight saving changes. The limit is enforced in the database for the verified email, category and award cycle. Switching devices or choosing another business in the same category does not create a second daily vote.
Verify your email with a six-digit code. You may choose to remember your own device for 30 days, so later votes in this browser do not need another email code. CAPTCHA checks and the same per-email voting limit still apply. You can forget the device from the voting page at any time. A different browser, cleared cookies or an expired saved device requires email verification again.
Use “remember this device” only on a browser you control. The browser stores a secure verification token; the server stores a hashed version with an expiry. It does not store your email address in the remembered-device cookie. Remembering a device does not cast tomorrow’s vote automatically or subscribe you to marketing emails.
Cloudflare Turnstile checks are verified on the server, including that the response belongs to this website. A missing or rejected check blocks the request. Request limits restrict repeated code and voting attempts. The database rejects duplicate daily votes, even when requests arrive at the same time. Voting dates are enforced on the server.
Email confirmation and CAPTCHA reduce abuse; they do not prove one vote per person. Staff document any invalidation. A different administrator approves the frozen tally before publication.
Staff review the vote records and document invalidations. The tally is frozen for review, and a different administrator must approve the result snapshot before publication. Published results identify the category and cycle. An unpublished tally is not an announced award.
Participating businesses must follow the same rules, including a business affiliated with the operator.
